Artisan roasted coffees at exceptionally fair prices. What more can you ask? My entire family has enjoyed the shipments we've received from Bodka. We'll be ordering more. Thanks David!

Main Squeeze. David hit the jackpot with this one. Great balance between chocolate and blueberry.

The pulls at 199 were sweeter while 201 were slightly more bittersweet out of my La Spaziale.
Have since tried it with Olympia Cremina with much smaller portafilter and 14.5g doubles. Mistake on first one. Temp around 93 on the installed calibrated thermometer which is common with the first pull from a Cremina.
The second one was in the "god shot" category at a perfect(for the Main Squeeze) 199. Wow!

And Ethiopian Konga?
Day four post roast had limitations. Around day 9-10 Konga is just hitting its stride. One of the best Ethopians I have sampled in awhile. And day four tasting of the Konga proves to me Bodka roasts and ships out immediately. I should have let it rest a few days.

Appreciate the roasting info of individual coffees on your website.

Thanks David for being so accessable and for brightening up the artisan roasting scene for us. I'm excited again.

Ok, ok!!!! So bodka coffee is the best!!!! LOL!!! ;))
We like it and are introducing "real" coffee to our friends out here. They all think Folgers is coffee. Trust me, I don't leave them oblivious to one of the finer things in life; Good Coffee! Thanks for everything and keep it up!!!

Main Squeeze. Roasted on Thursday, received on Saturday just in time for my morning pull ( Thanks David ) First shot a 20g triple @ 200' with slightly tight grind was amazingly sweet , redolent of almond and maraschino cherries with a dry cocoa finish. 2 ounces in 36 seconds on the Dream1. Wonderfully rich served with just a dollop of fresh local cream.
Love the personal touch too David, it will be a pleasure to do business with you and Bodka.
I can't wait to try the other coffees !

David,
What a pleasure to again have Idido Misty Valley in my Brazen coffee maker! I thoroughly enjoyed it, and BTW, once dialed in gave me some terrific shots from my Strega.
Thanks!

I've gotten the main squeeze espresso and really enjoyed it. It didn't seem temperamental in regards to temperature. Good tiger striping, thick cream, and a smooth tasting shot in general. And best of all the prices are still per pound, with flat rate shipping. Can't beat it.

Very pleased with the Ethiopian Idido. The shots I pulled tonight showcased the strawberry flavor extremely well and the velvety chocolate body was delicious, reminded me of licking the cake mixing bowl as a kid!

Love your Main Squeeze! It has become my go-to espresso blend, such a great balance between berry and chocolate notes, my conception of what a great espresso blend is all about. I love the aroma--I think my wife is getting tired of me sticking the beans under her nose to take a whiff every time I open the bag! I'm brewing 19g at 201-202 F to highlight the bittersweet chocolate notes. Terrific! Also greatly enjoyed the Guatemalan SO as an espresso, too. Next up, the Ethiopian-Idido. Can't wait! Oh, and David--thanks for the little freebies, it makes opening the package kind of like Christmas morning. BTW, in the last shipment, you had sent me some Main Squeeze a little longer off roast (about 12 days out when it got to me). Still great results, I froze the bag and used only what I needed each day to avoid any more staling, and it was super. If you have any more "long in the tooth" beans you want to offload, I will gladly take them off your hands! :)

My husband and I just had some Idido coffee from the MIsty Valley sent to us. It is so yummy! We are lovers of naturally processed coffee, and this one does not disappoint!

Plus, David has been so responsive and helpful, lettimg me know when he will have more of the naturals in, and what else to try.

Also, the prices are very affordable!

Thanks, David!

David,
As you suggested, Main Squeeze shot parameters are at user discretion. Strega Lever around your suggested temperature, 18 grams, slightly smaller yield. (45ml) Goopy and wonderful, especially for old guys like me who like SWEET!

Great great experience with Bodka coffees, following David's recommendation.

Ethiopian Misty Valley is well balanced, with notes of blueberry, not overwhelming, really great. Brewed with both Aeropress and Chemex and had great results.

The Columbian Tolima-Planadas is very pure, notes of Vanilla came through on the finish with the Chemex.

Super fast shipping and great price for high quality coffee.

Ordered the columbian decaf, swiss water processed. Roasted 12/19 and just getting better by the day! The Guatemala espresso is very tasty in the press pot! Really taste the difference in the freshly roasted beans. Thanks, David and Happy New Year to you and your family!

Ok, I start drooling only by thinking of this exceptional Espresso blend. Main Squeez is absolutely my favorite, and i have been through a lot before finally find it. Using Ranchilio Silvia V2 with Auber PID set to 212F and bottomless portafilter . Temp of the coffee is about 202 on the grouphead. Grind with Ranchilio Rocky at 9...and oooo Heaven

Bodka Coffee is absolutely delicious. I've been buying from Bodka for a couple years now, and the beans are of quality, flavorful, and the roast is great. I generally use single origin beans for my espresso, and really like the care that Bodka puts into their products. A perfect cup!

Ala Italia is a wonderful espresso. I found a sweet spot (for ME) at 18 grams in my IMS double basket is making for huge crema syrup-y pours. I like it around 200-201, 18 grams in, 30 grams out. Delicious.
